Greg Blount represents corporate, industrial, and trade association clients on complex environmental challenges, drawing on more than four decades of experience in environmental law and policy. He works with businesses across retail, manufacturing, and poultry processing sectors on hazardous waste compliance, regulatory reform, and emerging contaminants such as PFAS. Greg advises national retail chains and pharmacies on hazardous waste management, developing solutions for compliance challenges in California, Minnesota, Connecticut, and other states with stringent regulatory frameworks.

Greg advocates for clients before regulatory agencies, including EPA Headquarters and the Office of Management and Budget, providing input on proposed rulemaking for hazardous waste pharmaceuticals and other environmental regulations. His practice encompasses federal and state court litigation, with a particular focus on water quality issues and hazardous waste enforcement defense. Greg guides local governments through complex water supply matters, including his work on the multidistrict "Tri-State Water Wars" litigation between Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Greg brings a distinctive perspective to environmental challenges from his early career as an assistant attorney general and as the first general counsel to Georgia's Department of Natural Resources and its Environmental Protection Division. This background enables him to develop effective consensus approaches to environmental regulations and enforcement matters, balancing regulatory compliance with pragmatic business considerations.
