KMCL is excited to welcome another exceptional attorney to our team. Jim Thompson joined our Atlanta office earlier this month as our newest Associate.

Jim brings a strong background in commercial litigation and regulatory compliance. He is an experienced civil litigator with a broad range of representational experience, including product liability litigation, complex business disputes, and constitutional challenges. He has also counseled clients in high-stakes government investigations.

Jim received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania where he was Editor-In-Chief of the 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘴𝘺𝘭𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘢 𝘓𝘢𝘸 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸 and his B.S. from the University of Georgia where he was Student Body Vice President. Before joining KMCL, Jim practiced in Chambers-ranked litigation groups in Washington, D.C. and Atlanta.
