Helen brings experience representing clients in environmental matters at the federal, state, and local levels. Her practice regularly includes compliance counseling and enforcement defense in matters such as waste disposal, underground storage tanks, and other water-related issues. As outside counsel, she assists lenders, purchasers, sellers, and other property owners with respect to environmental due diligence in transactions, as well as cleanup of contaminated sites through Brownfield and state voluntary cleanup programs. She provides counsel on permitting, hazardous waste management, stormwater compliance, stream buffer issues, and other Clean Water Act and RCRA related matters. She also represents clients nationwide in CERCLA/Superfund cost contribution and allocation disputes.
