On August 28, 2018, Bart Turner will speak at the 31^st Annual Alabama Governor’s Safety and Health Conference in Orange Beach, Alabama.  The Alabama Governor’s Safety and Health Conference is the premier safety and health conference on the gulf coast. 

Bart’s session, titled “Taking An Honest and In-Depth Look at your Facility--- Conducting Audits and Investigations with Counsel address,” will focus on how to customize workplace audits and investigations at your facility, including the reasons and methodologies for implementing a successful audit.  Coordination and clear vision among the facility, safety consultant and outside counsel are paramount.  If done correctly,  a comprehensive safety audit can be an effective tool for identifying potential compliance concerns, developing a strategy for correction, and ultimately improving the overall safety program and culture.  Done incorrectly, a poorly performed audit can create greater issues than it resolved. 

His session will be part of the advanced Safety Leadership track.  This track includes other speakers such as corporate safety and health professionals, private safety consultants and  safety management team members who are leading experts in their field.
