KMCL Attorneys to Speak at 9th Annual Georgia Environmental Conference

Kazmarek Mowrey Cloud Laseter LLP attorneys Doug Cloud, Bob Mowrey, and Max Zygmont will be featured on panels at the 9th Annual Georgia Environmental Conference, in Jekyll Island, Georgia on August 20-22, 2014.

Doug Cloud will moderate and speak on a panel providing an update on EPD’s Response and Remediation Program, including VRP risk-based cleanups, HSRA rule changes, RCRA administrative orders, and other important legislative, regulatory, and technical developments from the past year.  Mr. Cloud’s August 21 panel features Jeff Cown, Georgia EPD’s Land Protection Branch Chief, Derrick Williams, EPD’s Response and Remediation Program Manager, and Greg Jones of Atlanta Gas Light.

Bob Mowrey will speak on a panel discussing the scientific and policy challenges associated with active and legacy industrial sites and the communities that surround them.  Max Zygmont will moderate this panel. 

Max Zygmont will moderate and speak on a panel discussing the implications of 2014’s two Supreme Court Clean Air Act decisions.
