- Helen Barnes brings broad expertise in environmental regulatory, transactional, policy, and litigation matters to KMCL and our clients. Her strategic counsel on environmental compliance and risk management has been invaluable to a diverse range of clients, including retail, industrial, and corporate entities. Helen’s deep knowledge of key federal and state environmental laws, along with her experience in environmental due diligence, remediation, and navigating complex regulatory challenges, has strengthened our team and helped clients successfully achieve business objectives while managing environmental risks.
- Kate Hopkins has been a key contributor to KMCL and our clients with her focus on environmental litigation and property transactions. With her expertise in both litigation strategy and regulatory compliance, Kate has successfully represented clients in complex contamination cases under federal and state environmental laws including the Clean Water Act, Superfund, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. She also provides critical guidance on transactions involving contaminated properties, including vapor intrusion and underground storage tanks, while navigating various regulatory schemes such as the Clean Air Act and the National Environmental Policy Act. Kate’s ability to craft creative solutions for our clients in challenging matters has been an invaluable asset to our firm.
