Jackie is an Associate in Kazmarek Mowrey Cloud Laseter’s Atlanta office. Jackie was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated from Emory University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies and a minor in Classical Civilization. She earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2019, graduating with Honors.
During law school, Jackie worked as a student attorney in Emory Law’s Turner Environmental Law Clinic, representing clients in energy litigation and policy matters. She garnered experience in complex regulatory, policy, and litigation matters as an intern at both the Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 and Southern Environmental Law Center. Throughout law school, she was a caseworker for the International Refugee Assistance Project, where she represented a client seeking asylum in the United States. For this work, she received the Pro Bono Publico medal upon graduation. She also gained experience working at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, advising clients on bankruptcy, social security benefits, landlord-tenant, domestic violence, and unemployment insurance benefits matters.
Jackie graduated with Honors from the Emory University School of Law, where she received the Pro Bono Publico medal for her public interest work.
